Should we still celebrate Easter? YES! I know it’s crazy to believe that April is here already, Easter is fast approaching, and this may be the strangest Easter yet for many of us. Regardless of what is happening in the world, we still, as parents, must show up for our kids this Easter. More importantly, this gift of time to slow down is just that a gift. Hugs your babies this Easter because we truly have so much to be grateful for. Currently, I’m planning my menu, prepping the house, and figuring out exactly how creative I can get with Easter baskets since I now have teenagers in the house. With that said, here are three things I recommend you do to get ready for easter 2020.

- DECORATE THE HOUSE!
One way to ensure everyone gets in the spirit is to decorate the house; it never fails! I not only set the decorations out, but I get candles and other scents to bring different smells in the house. You can order decor items online, and they can be delivered, so you don’t need to leave your home, or you can make them!
2. PLAN A MENU!

We usually do an Easter brunch and leave food out to munch on the rest of the day. However, the grocery store is a bit hectic right now; our stores are still pretty empty. I recommend starting to get ingredients now and getting creative with your recipes. Try something new and invite everyone to join you in the kitchen. There is plenty of time to cook from scratch this Easter!

3. CREATE A VISION BOARD
Get markers, poster boards, and other art supplies and create a vision board. This is such a cute idea, especially for teenagers! Right now, things look different for much pretty everyone in the world. Don’t let this time that God gave you go to waste. USE IT WELL. This Easter, take out some poster boards and write down some things you want to accomplish while we are stuck at home. Learn a new craft, read a new book, or maybe practice the piano. Just something to look forward to, so when Easter is over, we all have some direction.
